Interaction designers at introduction course

Am attending a two day course to get to understand Sony Ericsson. Have two fellow designers with me and the building we're in has great coffee, then this is what happens.

Sisters in town

The new view

We have moved to a new building at work and somethings are better and some things are worse. The from my window is one of the better things.

After a long walk, sunset and great conversation me and the handsome company ended up at Rasoir. Trying to ignore the fact that we're adults.

Am waiting for dinner company that's running late and the darling waitress gave me this as a starter! A small cup of candy.

Hanging out with goldielocks. Having Cava and take away in Lunds stadspark and the sun's still shining.

Big traffic by desert seashore

When we were done playing with the carts we all headed out into the desert, to Little Inland sea. Found a great place just by the seashore and parked the cars right by the water -perfect location.. However, it soon became apparent that we had parked in the middle of the "road" so a few cars drove by infront of us leaving about 20 cm to us and none to the sea. Others drove straight towards us and then trew themselves up to the right behind the cars, problem was that the sand was quite deep there so some got stuck.
Note the deep tyre marks, they are from the gasoline truck that came to the rescue when a jeep further along the sealine had placed himself in way to deep sand. I still don't understand how the truck was able to get out into the desert, really wierd seing it there. And yes, we got stuck too when we tried to drive away so a whole gang of frindly natives helped us get both of our big jeeps on the move again.

Cool rider

For two days it was too windy but the day before yesterday we finally got to drive four wheel cross carts. Rented small ones for us who had never tried it before, so we stayed away from the high dunes but still had a great laugh. The boys climbed on a 250 cc each and headed out for a more serious tour - Jani even managed to roll over ones but no injuries to neither boy or toy. Definately going to do this again!

My parents Qatarian garden

It is small but cosy and surprinsingly filled with greenery and plants. Oh and a quite cool tree too.

Velaggio shopping mall

This was the most impressive shopping mall I have ever been to. It has a painted sky, a gondola and overall seriously luxurious interior decoration -stores were good too :).

In the rearview mirror of a desert jeep

My little brother and his lady at the front and my little sister and her guy at the back. This was yesterday when we all drove straight through the desert down to Inland sea. Qatar is good for you, makes you forget all about Germany. Tried to blog this yesterday but there is no blogging ability from the desert.
